Mighty Good Recipe

Tuesdays are dedicated to bringing you a Mighty Good Recipe!

Fusion Spare Ribs

Ingredients
4 lbs. pork spare ribs
2 packets of spare rib marinade
1 cup bbq sauce (sweet)

Directions
Take spare ribs, rinse under water, and place in a Zip Lock bag. Pour pre-made marinade mix over ribs and let sit for at least four hours (overnight preferable), Take ribs out and place rib side down on deep baking sheet. Cook for 1.5 hours in 250 degree oven. Remove...toss with bbq sauce. Throw on low flame grill for about 3 minutes on each side.

This is another recipe that goes along with our Asian-themed entries from this month. What dinner isn't complete without a side of spare ribs? It's a perfect recipe to make after visiting a specialty market because they have those packets of marinades in a variety of flavors. I chose a Hawaiian bbq marinade. After the ribs were done in the oven, I tossed with a cup of Stubbs bbq sauce and threw on the grill. This crisps up the ribs and adds nice grill marks.
